I just finished watching James Franco in a role that openly deserves his kudos as a great performance. Simply done! Making an effortless transition without overacting in the intensity of so many alone moments. I did not yet read the book the preempted the film, but I definitely want to now. Danny Boyle, who also directed Slumdog Millionaire, still had a few odd moments in the film, a little hold over of Bollywood style perhaps, but very well done for primarily having most of the film capturing James Franco stuck to a rock. It was truly all about perspective, bittersweet.
